Volume 38 (2009) of The Australian Journal of Indigenous Education will appear in two volumes.

The first is a Special Supplementary Issue (Volume 38S) edited by Clair Andersen and Maggie Walter. This volume brings together a selection of papers from the Indigenous Knowledge and Indigenous Studies (ISIK) conference convened by Riawunna, the Centre for Indigenous Education at the University of Tasmania on 2-4 July 2008. This very successful conference brought together a wide range of international Indigenous and and non-Indigenous people to explore the many contested facets of Indigenous knowledges. This volume was distributed in September 2009. This Special Supplementary Issue will be distributed to regular subscribers at no extra cost.

The second volume for 2009 (Volume 38) will be our regular issue, packed with diverse papers from Australia and overseas along with our book review section. This volume has an anticipated distribution date of early December 2009.
