 Ngulaig Monograph Series


The Ngulaig Monograph Series is an occasional refereed monograph series published by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Unit at the University of Queensland. "Ngulaig" is a western Torres Strait Islander word meaning "knowledgeable people". It is edited by Sean Ulm and Michael Williams.

The Editors accept manuscripts from 5,000 to 20,000 words in length on contemporary issues which are relevant to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studies. Examples of recent titles can be viewed in the list below. The views expressed in the Ngulaig Monograph Series are those of the author/s, and are not necessarily those of the Editors or the University of Queensland unless otherwise noted.

Submissions

Authors are encouraged to contact the editor to discuss publication prior to submission of manuscripts. Manuscripts should generally not exceed 20,000 words. Authors should follow the submission instructions and requirements outlined in the Australian Archaeology Notes to Contributors.
