Mura Gadi - National Library of Australia
Mura Gad i- a guide to manuscript, pictures and oral histories in the National Library of Australia relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is an online catalogue of the Library's rich resources relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The name, contributed by Ngunawal/Ngunnawal elder Matilda House, means 'pathways for searching' in the language of the original inhabitants of the region where the Library is located. We hope Mura Gadi will provide a new 'pathway' to assist those searching for material relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The WWW Virtual Library, unlike commercial catalogs, is run by a loose confederation of volunteers, who compile pages of key links for particular areas in which they are expert; even though it isn't the biggest index of the web, the VL pages are widely recognised as being amongst the highest-quality guides to particular sections of the web.
